What happens after I sign up to SMS?
Well, it goes a little something like this…
You invite us to join your family…
… on a whatsapp group that contains all your participating family members. Or, find some other technology if whatsapp doesn’t work for you. We’ll introduce everyone to the idea and give people the option to opt out. We’ll ask a few questions to figure the best way to communicate with the whole family (when, what language, etc.)
Everyone watches short movies
Your family whatsapp group will receive a different movie about a Filipino LCP family reunited in Canada every weekday, for two weeks. The movies are only about two minutes long, and develop the story of a single family over one week.
A Box of delights arrives!
Your family can choose to receive a surprising box of delights digitally or on your doorstep! The box contains conversation starters and family games designed to help families get your family talking about what really matters to you, and how you want to do family together in Canada.
